Active Kids Association of Sport - AKASPORT, Inc.

Welcome to the AKASPORT experience!  We aim to please through sport and education to keep kids enthused, keep kids entertained, keep kids healthy and safe, and keep kids having fun!

AKASPORT offers programs and camps that not only relate to sports but also to LIFE!  You're only so young for so long so let's make the most and provide the best for our future's brightest.  And although the development of kids may be our primary mission, we realize that the wellness of the entire family strengthens the odds that kids will continue a life-long pursuit of a healthy, balanced lifestyle.  Many factors within each family contribute to wellness:  regular physical activity; food choices; balancing career and family relationships; and a positive emotional state of mind.

AKASPORT currently offers summer camps, school programs and community events designed for kids to spend their time playing a variety of sports, meeting new friends, and attending field trips to exciting and educational sites throughout the Twin Cities and Minnesota.  We offer programs for beginners all the way up to the focused high school athletes. 

Our overall mission is not a destination, its a journey.  The bottom line is that we want the best for our kids, our families, and our community.  The issues that we will address for YEARS to come through sport programs, partnerships and educational enrichment for YEARS to come include:

• Tackling the inactivity epidemic - Get out and Play!
• Understanding and actively fighting the obesity epidemic
• Teaching kids the principles of philanthropy - giving back the best!
