Our Story

Active Kids Association of Sport - AKASPORT, Inc.

Incorporated in 2004, AKASPORT was created to provide All Sports programs and camps for kids.  Keeping kids well rounded through sport seems like such a simple concept yet now days kids and families are taking sports far too serious to a level that was once unimaginable.  The number of kids under the age of 10 who are actually playing, training, and competing in only ONE sport year round is alarmingly increasing.  Kids and parents need to be educated and provided with as many opportunities and as much information to keep our youth diverse and having fun.  In our minds, sport just happens to be the best vehicle to pass along those opportunities and information. 

Over the past 5 years AKASPORT has provided programs throughout the Twin Cities.  We have learned a lot, provided for many, met great kids and families, and had a lot of fun!  We intend to grow and to continue to do all of those things even more!
